    • My experience is that Wilko is very competitive. I visited the Brighouse (West Yorkshire) store many times and very pleased to find a Wilko at Didcot when I moved to Abingdon last year. Also find Wilko own brand very good. When the same items are for sale at several places I always compare with Wilko’s and that’s where I finally shop.

Honestly, the products are similar, but the clerk is super good, very kindly help me introduce and intimately remind me to pay attention to the use of the product, I think this will make me want to come again.

I did see them on the shelf in the shop but just assumed this is if you wanted to replace the one you had or if you didnt have one at all they was very pricey nearly the same ad the light shade i brought for £25 as it doesnt come with this i will be returning rhe product and going elsewhere like the range where you are more likely to get the whole lot and cheaper

  55. My Wilko shop is in Ammanford and I go there regularly for certain items that are a little cheaper than Tescos which is next door. I, like many people I know are now trying to avoid buying items manufactured in China and consequently avoided buying such items in Wilko. For example I could not find a frying pan or any pan for that matter that was not made in China! I also avoided buying a Pyrex measuring jug because it was manufactured in France! I have since ordered these items on line although they are manufactured in Pakistan!! I would be prepared to pay more for British made goods.
Are there not British manufacturing companies out there that Wiko could support?

Diane happen to be a racist because for no reason at all after paying for my items I proceeded to request that she replace my previous tattered WILKO shopping back and DIANE refused to replace it. I asked her why she refused and she said to me because it is not due for replacement. I thought she was joking at first but it happened that she was actually serious. How earth she managed to have the knowledge that my bag was not due for replace when she had not even seen my old one as I was just trying to bring it out is a mystery. The bag that I have had for more than 4months! I then asked to speak to her manager and she just very rudely walked off. What a disgusting piece this Diane is. I had to go to another staff member to request to speak to the manager and was told that the manager had gone home. Upon telling this other staff what DIANE did, they apologized and replaced my old bag. All I wanted was to get a 10p bag replaced AND NOT BE SUBJECTED TO RACISM by people like Diane. This has been a VERY UPSETTING experience from Wilko.

I have never once managed to get all the items on my list (even before the Covid 19 crisis) and this week was no exception. I had 13 items on my list and 5 were out of stock over different departments.
Added to this, the trolleys are far too large for the narrow aisles and the tills are no good for packing items, something that even the staff agree with!
I have no problem with the staff who are always polite and helpful.

No stock of required product on shelf, what shall I do. A member of staff passed as I considered what to do “have you got any more ” I asked. With a smile and let me check for you she went away. A couple of minutes later sorry no stock but I have contacted a nearby branch who have stock and if I wish to pop there it can be put aside for you to collect. Thank you Juile Purdy for going the extra mile, excellent service. To many shops find its easier just to say no, will be coming back soon.
