I live in Portland Or. where Kroger has owned Fred Meyers for many years. They stuck to the Fred Meyer ways for a long time and then started to do the Kroger thing about 5-7 years ago. Starting with the buy 5 save 5 crap, buy 3 or 4 to get a deal and into the digital coupon BS. penalizing people that don’t do or know how to do. There are plenty of senior citizens and single individuals that you don’t cater to. I understand you care. Its about $ and sticking more money into the 6 and 9 figures at the top. And no doubt 100K, 200K plus salary increases they are getting during the covid excuse years. On top of it all the outlandish prices they are putting on things with the covid excuse, which is over. I just bought Banana Boat lip balm for $5 that I paid $3 last yr. Another product from the health department I paid $19 for, Target and Walmart sale for $6 plus less. In the last 2,3 years in particular, and the 5-7 years they have really tarnished the Fred Meyer name. The right thing to do would be to change the name. Please pass this along to the no doubt Trumplican Party takers. Signed, fed up and pissed off.
