    Requirements

    To join the sweepstakes, you need the following:

    Restrictions

    I shop at 3 of your area locations regularly: Chester, Chatham & Succasunna. (one near my home, one near my office, one near my gym) Checkout experience is HORRENDOUS. The “FASTLANE” self-checkout has become the dysfunctional ultra slow lane. Shoprite used to have the best in class self-checkout experience until roughly about 2 months ago. You recalibrated something with the scales and now there is a constant misfiring where the system complains about “something unexpected in the shopping area” during checkout, if you remove last item it then switches to “item removed from bagging area” asking you to return the item – and it loops and requires store personnel to correct it. This is happening multiple times, many times every time I have shopped. Today was easily a dozen times. It is NOT due to using own bags. It happens even if you do not use a bag on the scale and just put items on the scale unbagged. This was happening to every shopper around me while I was checking out. It is not unique to one register or one store because it happens at all of them. Whatever you did, undo it. It is so bad I will be avoiding your stores and heading to Weis or Wegmans or Kings until you fix it. I cannot even express how exasperatingly frustrated I was in your store today. It was not the product selection, prices, or merchandizing, it was not your staff (who was scrambling to do their best to unstick the repeated glitches). It is your now horrible technology at checkout. FIX IT. Whoever did this and certified the function should be fired. It is that bad. Will you post this review?

    I had a problem not being able to find baby oragel at Penrose Plaza but there were numerous 1st baby toothbrushes and paste. It was too late to walk from Elmwood Ave and Island Ave to Woodland Ave and Island Ave. please ShopRite try to stay stocked with needed baby products, this also includes baby Tylenol thanks.

    This store has spacious isles and very friendly personal. I did like BERNARD as my checker because HE is friendly, efficient and helps you bag.
